Hey There Hostages!!!
So the title was a toss up between that & "Hey you guys!!!!"
I went with the former - more dramatic! So here we are, what day...30 of the quarantine? Maybe day 23 of the "Stay at home" order? Many of us are kind of stir crazy. At times we even lose our sense of better judgement. I admit I got unfriended on social media at least once. {OOPS!}
Despite my obvious shortcomings I felt the need to offer my insight and wisdom now, though. I'm finally feeling an upswing in my mood after quite a few down days. I am trying to be more active, more engaged, less sedentary. It is sooooooo hard to avoid the latter if you feel the least bit depressed. Let's be honest, right now, who'd know? I am on school break anyway (the "official" Spring Break) and I'm grateful I don't "have" to work...yet, there's work to do. I will never ignore a message from a scholar or a parent on the Remind App. That's sacred to me. They have me at their disposal. Ben gets dibs on my physical proximity and having immediate needs tended, but any of my students or parents who message me will get a response within hours, even over break! I am thinking of writing out cards - I have so many I've saved over the years, and with the Post office possibly being in trouble, I can buy 100 stamps and help them out!

So here we are dozens of days in quarantine with dozens to go...I wallowed in self-pity a few days, but now I'm starting fresh! I am excited about my beans sprouting!
My new favorite game is turn them from the sun and see how long they take to grow back toward it!
I have days left on my stay-cation to get some areas of my home organized. Shoot, if anyone needs Mary Kay I'll give you a killer deal on stock I'd love to offload...most of it I'll part with at a cost loss just to get it out of here!
Of course, there's the best use of my time! Enjoying watching my high maintenance baby love life and grow!
